A 100 hours Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programme is perfect for those who want to deepen their personal practice, but do not have enough time to complete the 200 hours yoga teacher training certification.
Why should you join? Firstly, our 100 hours teacher training is the perfect tool for delving deep in to the traditional practices of Yoga. Secondly, it is a fantastic experience to set yourself up for a future in teaching at a later date.
You will learn traditional Hatha Yoga and explore all 8 limbs (or aspects) of the Yoga philosophy as described by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. With highly experienced teachers and one of the most serene environments in Rishikesh, our academy therefore offers a fantastic environment for students who would like to explore the journey of yoga from the very core.

Advantages of 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Students acquire the many advantages of understanding practical and applicable aspects of yoga with its essential basics. With a well-equipped yoga hall and highly skilled yoga teachers, our 100 hours yoga teacher training course is able to clarify the basics of yoga spanning over a 14 day period.
It is also possible to complete two 100 hour YTT courses, in the same year, to acquire your 200 hours yoga teacher training certification. This is helpful if you have a busy schedule and taking 4 weeks off at a time is not possible. However, both courses must be complete within 12 months of each other.
What to expect from the 100 YTT course
100 hour yoga teacher training students will join the first two weeks of the 200 hour yoga teacher training certification. They will learn and gain an understanding of asana (yoga poses), yoga philosophy (the 8 limbs of Patanjali’s yoga sutras), and anatomy. Students are taught in the traditional hatha style. Students will also be taught how to use props effectively and safely. And how they can aid practitioners in alignment.
Shree Sanjeevani Kriya Yog Foundation takes a modern approach to human anatomy and individual skeletal variation. Therefore, students will never be coerced into creating shapes and performing poses their body is not ready for, or cannot handle. Since we strictly only allow small class sizes it allows for a deep personal understanding of each students physical capabilities by our teachers. This means they can offer assistance that is both safe and helpful.
Along with asana practice (yoga poses),the 100 hour YTT course covers pranayama (breathing techniques – literally the extension of the life force), meditation and kriya (cleansing techniques)
